Free Early Education Entitlement
FEEE is a government grant that enables all children to receive free early education.

- 9 months+ working parents 15 hours
- 2 years universal and working 15 hours
- All 3 and 4 year olds 15 or 30 hours based on eligibility

At The City Nursery we can offer the following 15 hours FEEE :

2 days a week 9:00 - 16:30 (38 weeks per year)
Once all free places are gone sessions can still be taken with a contribution being made by parents towards consumables.

4 days a week 09:00 - 16:30 (All year round)

About us
Our day nursery in Leicester City Centre is a respected and trusted day nursery, which has been supporting families for 40 years. The City Nursery provides consistency and a genuine desire to offer premium learning opportunities to young children, as they take their first steps towards education. We care for children from birth to school age with our dedicated and qualified staff in a nurturing and stimulating environment. Our nursery provides all children with carefully considered learning zones, innovative facilities and a spacious roof top garden to explore. We are wholly committed to the EYFS curriculum which is evident in all we do, teamed with a firm belief that each child is unique and can lead their own learning journey.

Learning is playful, fun, explorative and varied at The City Nursery an we offer a rich program of education and activity all day long from 7:45 - 18:00. We provide multiple opportunities each day for children to express their ideas, make links and ask questions as this self-led approach results in children being independant thinkers and problem solvers as they grow up.

Our Facilities
Outdoor Play Area
In addition to all of the
indoor activities and facilities, the children go outside everyday onto our secure rooftop play area throughout the year for fresh air and exercise.
The City Nursery considers outdoor play to be an essential part of children's learning and development.

Indoor Physical Area
In addition to all of
the other activities and facilities, the children use the indoor physical area throughout the day for exercise.
They have access to a large climbing frame to climb, jump and build confidence. Football, basketball, tennis and numerous games are also played while children enjoy this fun and bright area.
Disabled Access
We have the following
facilities avaliable for children, parents and visitors with disabilities.
-Lift from basement to roof top garden
-Ramped access area to front of building
-Visible fire alarms
